COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Benedict College men’s volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Morehouse College on Saturday afternoon in the Benjamin E. Mays HRC Arena.
The Tigers won the match 25-21, 25-15, 25-11 to improve to 7-5 overall and 3-3 in the SIAC. Morehouse falls to 0-12 overall and 0-4 in the SIAC.
Ras Jesse Delancy led the offense with 12 kills while hitting .320. He added two service aces and two blocks. Jomari Jacobs added eight kills. Donovan Wilmott had three kills and five blocks. Ahijaa Sweeney had 15 assists, playing in two sets. Clint Forbes recorded eight digs.
The Tigers take to the road to face Rhinehardt in Waleska, Ga., on Monday.
