Bowie State Football Bumps Up to No. 24 in Latest AFCA DII Coaches Poll

WACO, Tex. – The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Preseason Division II Coaches Poll released its third week of rankings and Bowie State University moved up to No. 24 announced Monday.

The Bulldogs (1-1) are coming off a 28-19 victory against Saginaw Valley State that helped improved BSU’s rankings from No. 25 to No. 24 this week.

West Florida (2-0) remained atop while Ferris State (2-0) and Northwest Missouri State (1-0) round out the top three spots.

Bowie State will travel to West Haven, Conn. to face New Haven for the 2021 Harmony Classic on Saturday, Sept. 18. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
