Division 1 Men’s National Player of the Week: Jawaun Daniels, Junior Guard, Prairie View A&M

Daniels, 6-7 Guard from Harlem NY, 21.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, shot 67 percent from the field, and shot 64 percent from three-point range as the Panthers went 3-0 won their third straight SWAC Regular Season Crown

Division 1 Women’s National Player of the Week: Dayzsha Rogan, Senior Guard, Jackson State:


Rogan, 5-4 Senior Guard from Ripley, Mississippi averaged 17ppg, 4rpg, 2.7apg, 2.7spg in three games last week. She scored 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assist and three steals as the Tigers defeated Alabama State 64 to 62 in a tight battle at home for Jackson State to win its second straight SWAC Women’s Title

Small School Division2/NAIA Men’s National Player of the Week: Jeremiah Moore, Senior Forward, West Virginia State:

Moore, a 6-6 Senior Forward from West Orange, NJ scored a career 41 points, had 11 rebounds and four blocks, but it was not enough as the Yellow Jackets lost to Fairmont 95-87 in the MEC Tournament.


Small School Division2/NAIA Women’s National Player of the Week: Asheika Alexander, Senior Forward, Langston:

Alexander, a 5-10 Senior Forward from Gwinnett, GA led all scorers with 30 points and 11 rebounds as the Lady Tigers finished runner-ups in the SAC tournament championship Game that allowed them to the NAIA Women’s Tournament for the first time since 2016. She was also an SAC-All Tournament selection for the Lady Tigers.
