NEWNAN, Ga. — Magne Chamber-Wilson shot even par in the second round and was low medalist with a 2-under 142 as Miles ran away from the field on the final day to win the HBCU Division II Invitational at Summer Grove Golf Course.

Six golfers for Miles finished in the top-10. Chamber-Wilson won the tournament by one stroke over Bishop State’s Zachary Doppel III but the Golden Bears were still in a battle once the second round began, as they were tied with Kentucky State after shooting 309 after the opening round.

Christian Copen (+4, 148) went low with Chamber-Wilson over the final 18 holes, as both shot even-par 72. He finished fifth overall. Marquis Taylor (+7, 151) finished seventh, Fred Windham (+8, 152) was eighth, and Anthony Lumpkin and Phillip Darst (both +9, 153) tied for ninth.
