DURHAM, N.C. – North Carolina Central University will make its first appearance in the NCAA Division I-FCS Playoffs on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m., in a road contest against the University of Richmond inside Robins Stadium in Richmond, Virginia.
Ticket information will be available at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 20 at RichmondSpiders.com.
No. 14 NCCU (9-2) earned an at-large bid to the NCAA postseason after achieving an 8-1 record versus FCS opponents, including non-conference triumphs over Elon, Campbell and North Carolina A&T out of the CAA, as well as Mississippi Valley State from the SWAC.
Richmond (8-3) will make its 13th NCAA FCS playoff appearance after winning six straight games to end the season and earn a share of its fifth CAA title.
